Spelling Bee

The first national Spelling Bee was organized by the Louisville Courier-Journal in 1925.  For more than 90 years the spelling bee has been apart of students' lives all across the nation.  Last year our spellers worked very hard!  We are looking forward to another great season of spelling!

Reasons Buffalo Ridge participates in the Scripps National Spelling Bee:
       * It improves student's spelling
       * It increases students' vocabularies
       * Students learn spelling concepts and skills
       * Students develop correct English usage that will help them all their lives
