Miss Connor

Hello I am Miss Connor!
This will be my first year at Buffalo Ridge Elementary where I will be one of two speech language pathologists.  I attended CU-Boulder for my undergrad and recently earned my master's degree from the University of Wyoming.
When I am not working at the school you can find me hiking or skiing in the mountains.  I am very active and love getting outdoors with my dog Dutton.  I am also a huge foodie and love checking out new spots to eat in Denver.
As a speech pathologist, I am passionate about encouraging growth, communication, and independence for all of my students.  I look forward to the upcoming year at BRE and being part of the community!

Mrs. Tomasulo

I am a certified member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and am licensed to practice speech language pathology in the states of Colorado and Connecticut.  I received my Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Pennsylvania State University in 2016 and my Master's in Speech - Language Pathology from Southern Connecticut State University in 2018.  I have been practicing speech-language pathology for 4 years and this will by my second year working at Buffalo Ridge.  I specialize in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a variety of communication disorders to include: receptive/expressive language disorders, articulation disorders, stuttering, autism spectrum disorders, Down Syndrome, and other developmental delays.  I work closely with students and their families and teachers to better understand my students and their needs and plan effective treatments.
In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jayson, and my two dogs, Mae and Willow.  Some of my favorite hobbies include hiking, Pilates, traveling, painting, and learning Spanish.  I grew up in Fairfield, Connecticut spending time on the beaches of Long Island Sound with my family.  Although the beach is one of my favorite places to be, I love the mountains of Colorado equally as much.  Most of all, I love my career which makes coming to work easy!
