Welcome to Buffalo Ridge Elementary

Nestled in the heart of Castle Pines, Buffalo Ridge Elementary is a public school that offers preschool through fifth-grade learning opportunities to both our community and open-enrolled students. Recognized as a six-time recipient of the John Irwin School of Excellence, BRE focusses on the social, emotional, and academic growth of our student body, and provides a well-rounded education with enrichment opportunities in STEM, art, music and physical education.

For the 2019-2020 school year, the staff at Buffalo Ridge Elementary has identified the following systematic goals based on student needs and district initiatives:

1. Students at BRE will be able to improve their ability to comprehend and respond to various texts effectively in the appropriate written form that addresses all components of the prompt. These written responses will be assessed using a common rubric and will be aligned to the 2020 Colorado Academic Standards.

2. Empower students, parents, and staff to meet the academic and emotional needs of EVERY child EVERY day.

If you are new to the community or would like to schedule a tour, please contact BRE directly at (303)387-5575.
