Online Registration (OLR)
Welcome to Douglas County School District in Colorado! Enrollment Services processes OLR applications for all DCSD Neighborhood and Magnet schools, as well as Cloverleaf Home Education. Unsure of your Neighborhood school? Please contact Enrollment Services to verify the school assigned to your Douglas County address. Missing or Incorrect documents will delay the processing of your OLR Application! Please review the Required Documents listed below.

Please note: OLR is not the same as Open Enrollment.
Required Documents
Before starting, please have the following required documents ready as .pdf or .jpeg files. Using a scanning app is recommended for better document quality. Missing or incorrect documents WILL DELAY your application, as it will be returned for corrections.
- Parent/Guardian government-issued ID (e.g. driver's license)
- Student(s) government-issued birth certificate
- Student(s) immunization records (per Colorado Law/CDPHE website)
- Proof of residency (choose one from list below):
- Signed lease agreement, including tenant names, address, lease term dates and signature of both parties
- Signed purchase agreement, including address, buyer names and signatures of both parties
- Warranty deed, property tax notice, or Douglas County Assessor's page
- Notarized Proof of Residency Letter from the person you are living with, along with their proof of residency
While not required for OLR processing, a student Transcript/Last Report Card is necessary at the Secondary level (Middle/High) for class placement and schedule creation. This may be uploaded in the OLR application or submitted directly to the school.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are currently attending a Charter School or another DCSD school and would like to attend Buffalo Ridge Elementary, you will need to apply for a spot at our school through Open Enrollment for the 24-25 school year.
If you live in our attendance area and your children are currently attending a Charter School or another DCSD school through Open Enrollment, the deadline to submit an “Intent to Return” is Jan 9, 2025 to guarantee your spot at Buffalo Ridge Elementary for the 25-26 School Year.
